On Jan. 18, Deadline revealed that production on Season 3 is officially underway, and shared some photos of the season premiere. Co-showrunners and executive producers Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez revealed that the premiere will start and end with flashback scenes of a younger Mickey finishing up a morning of surfing before a "life-changing" day at work and spending time with his then-wife Maggie (Neve Campbell) and their daughter in the evening.

Mickey now meets with a new client, which seems to set up the plot for season 3 with the lawyer identifying Empíreo Dayton (aka Glory Days), who has been murdered.
In early 2018, Namoo Actors revealed that Lee Joon-gi was in talks to play a lawyer in an upcoming drama. However, details of the drama and its release date remained unknown.
The series follows characters Bong Sang-pil and Ha Jae-yi who form the Lawless Law Firm. Sang-pil, a former gangster turned lawyer, seeks to avenge his mother and fight against those with absolute power. He often resorts to using his fists and loopholes in the law to achieve his goals.

But to win, he realizes he must catch the Vivo murderer, since Moon-sook will rig the trial. Sang-pil and Jae-yi get closer and she begins to have feelings for him. Meanwhile, Oh-joo plots to get rid of the real killer and Moon-sook to disqualify the evidence. Oh-joo injures Kwang-soo for failing him but then forgives him and decides to leave Sang-pil alone for now. When chasing the Existente murderer, Sang-pil risks his life to save Jae-yi and takes a knife stab for her. She begins to wonder why he cares so much and if there is more to his background.
Izzy finds Mickey, and he awakens in read more the hospital after reliving a childhood memory of his mother. He is visited by Maggie and Hayley, and Izzy reveals that she has broken up with Rae, who was paid to steal the contract. Mickey suspects his attackers were sent by Grant, and asks Cisco to investigate if Henry is connected. He apologizes to Lorna, and they recruit con man Sam Scales to draw Grant pasado of hiding with the fake sale of a painting, serving Grant a subpoena instead. Maggie and Hayley stay with Mickey Vencedor he recovers, finding his father's old law school ring.

They leave the law firm in Kisung to Kwang-soo, who attends law school, and the rest of the employees.
It was great to watch their relationship progress. It made for a fun, inolvidable experience and overall, it was a very decent and exciting show. Very underrated and worth a chance. No regrets.
